Convert your old home movie film to DVD

Old reels of movie film that are typically stored in forgotten places can hold your most treasured family memories. We can bring back those memories of days gone by.

We use leading-edge technology to transfer your 8mm, Super 8mm, and 16mm film. Frame-by-frame scanning will digitize and convert film to several output options. We have sprocket-less scanning capabilities for both 8mm and 16mm film that is damaged, shrunken, warped or has torn perforations.

Movie Film output options

Movie film can be processed is several different output modes. Our basic standard film transfer is 960 X 720 resolution to MP4 files. Options available include HD output at 1920 X 1080 and 2K transfer at 2048 X 1536. Sound can also be captured for a small additional per foot fee. Color correction, titles, and custom menus are additional options. Your finished product can be transferred to DVD, flash drive or Blu-ray Disc. Film transfer pricing

Basic standard processing – .18 per foot, to DVD .22 per foot, ISO files .20 per foot (295 foot minimum charge)

HD processing – .22 per foot, to DVD .25 per foot, to Blu-ray .30 per foot (250 foot minimum charge, includes basic color correction)

2K processing – .25 per foot

8mm and 16mm with sound – .5 cents additional fee per foot of film

Film cartridges – $5.00 per cartridge prep fee

Prep fee – $1.00 per reel of film

Other services available – Individual files $2.00 per reel, titles $5.00ea, Custom music $10.00 per song, customer menus $50.00ea.

All film is cleaned to remove dust and as many scratches as possible. Warped film can also be processed for an additional fee. Adding generic royalty free music is an option and it is free of charge.
